The replacement tank LRA is designed for the Nissan Navara D40 Thai diesel 4WD, in Dual body style, from 2008 to 2015. With its capacity to 150 litersIt replaces the original tank to increase fuel range for travel, raids, tracks and travel in isolated areas.
This tank is installed on the left side of the driveshaft, retaining the standard exhaust, original filler neck, and spare tire. The instructions describe removing the original tank, reusing the fuel gauge and strainer, extending the float arm by 60 mm, lengthening the gauge wires by 200 mm, modifying the rear strap mounting hole to 36 mm, cutting the filler neck and quick-release vent tube, and refitting the original heat shield to the new tank. If the vehicle is equipped with a flatbed, a modification to the filler system may be necessary.
